The official NBA 2K27 companion app launches August 21, 2026 at 8:00 AM PT on iOS and Android — MyPLAYER Builder, Crew management, and rewards tracking before The City opens.
NBA 2K HQ, the official companion app for NBA 2K27, is scheduled to launch today — August 21, 2026 at 8:00 AM PT on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for iOS and Android.12 Per 2K, the app arrives five days before Early Access and gives squads a way to organize before anyone steps into The City.

MyPLAYER Builder
The full MyPLAYER Builder runs in-app. Players can create up to 15 builds; builds do not auto-push to console — import happens when you sign in on your home platform.12 Share builds via QR codes or links.1
Improved Face Scan features offer faster scanning and high-fidelity textures.12
Crew Features
NBA 2K HQ connects players to their Crew between console sessions:12

- Full Crew management — invites and roster controls
- Friend list management
- Daily Leaderboard and Crew Rewards tracking
- Mobile-exclusive daily login rewards that carry back to console

MyNBA 2K Sunset
The legacy MyNBA 2K companion app sunsets Friday, August 21, 2026 when NBA 2K HQ launches. MyNBA 2K was delisted from stores Tuesday, August 18, 2026.1
