What 2K Officially Announced
Crew HQ is the team-based counterpart to MyCOURT — a dedicated home base for squads with built-in voice chat, practice courts, and competitive structure.1
Official Crew competitive formats include:
- Ranked Crew games through six tiers (Bronze through Top Ranked) in 3v3 and 5v5 matchmaking1
- Squad Showdown Kiosk for private runs and league play with other Crews1
- Crew progression launching at 40 levels, with five additional levels each Season starting Season 21
Proving Grounds also returns as a ranked ladder mode in The City.2
Community coverage notes that organized 5v5 team competition in the reveal materials lives in Crew HQ and Proving Grounds, not under a separate "Pro-Am" label. timesaver.gg writes: "There is no 'Pro-Am' in 2K27's reveal materials — organised 5v5 lives in Crew HQ and Proving Grounds."2
NBA 2KW describes Squad Showdown as bringing "elements of the old Pro-Am experience directly into Crew HQ."3
