Co-Ed City Comes to Crew HQ
NBA 2K27 introduces the first co-ed City — male and female MyPLAYERs compete side by side in Crew HQ and every City mode on the same build framework.
NBA 2K27 introduces the first co-ed City in franchise history. Male and female MyPLAYERs compete side by side across every multiplayer mode in The City — including Crew HQ and the Casual Corner.1
Same Framework, Build-Based Competition
All MyPLAYERs are built on the same framework. Height, wingspan, badges, and attribute ratings are determined by the MyPLAYER build, not appearance — keeping competition level across the community.1
Female MyPLAYERs are a City-only experience. Players who want a WNBA career path can still play The W as a separate mode.12
All game-enhancing rewards — including the MyPOINTS Accelerator — are earned in The City for all MyPLAYERs.1
Crew HQ in a Co-Ed City
Crew HQ is listed among the City modes where male and female MyPLAYERs run together — ranked Crew games, Squad Showdown private play, and Crew progression all operate inside this shared competitive space.12
Erick Boenisch, VP of NBA Development at Visual Concepts, said:
“The City has long been the proving ground and social hub for the community. In 2K27, we’re elevating competition and connection across the mode - from a co-ed City that opens the game's most competitive space to every hooper on an even playing field, to Crew HQ giving every squad a place to call home and so much more.”1
